DSignal Founder

Founders check their own status. You stop writing status emails.

A founder can see where their deal stands without emailing to ask — the same portal that took their application shows them the current stage, so “any update?” stops being your inbox’s most common subject line.

Before

Your inbox is the status page.

  • Founders can’t see their own deal. The only way to learn the stage is to email and ask.
  • You write status emails. Every stage change is followed by a reply someone has to remember to send.
  • Asks get lost in threads. Requests for documents or a call sit in long email chains.

In DeelSignal the same portal that took their application shows them the current stage.

How it works

Your side and their side, kept in step.

Three steps, drawn on Nuva Tech’s deal. Pick a step to see where it happens.

Steps advance on their own; pick one to hold it.

The inbox

“Any update?” stops being the most common subject line.

When the stage is on the founder’s screen, the status emails have nothing left to ask. What is left in the inbox is the conversation worth having.

Signatures

A letter goes out and comes back signed in the same place.

Side letters, board consents and LP notices can be sent for signature from the workspace, with the signed copy filed against the record.

Send

Pick the document, name the signers.

Upload a PDF or Word file and choose its type: side letter, board consent, LP notice, subscription agreement or §83(b) election. Each signer gets a personal link by email, and a partner or admin can send. The workspace checks the fund’s recorded notice method first and asks for a confirmation when an LPA may require paper.

Consent

The signer proves the inbox, then signs.

The link asks for a six-digit code sent to the signer’s email. Before signing they read an electronic-records disclosure and agree to it, then draw or type their signature. Declining electronic signing marks the request as needing paper rather than leaving it open.

Record

Finished means a bundle, not a screenshot.

The document is hashed when it is sent and checked again when the last signer finishes. Every step lands in an append-only, hash-chained event log. The sender gets the original, a completion record and a manifest in one zip, and reminders and expiry run on their own meanwhile.

See it on your own pipeline.

We walk the job through on Demo Capital’s records first, then on a copy of yours.
